Note: The U.S. Preventive Task Force does not recommend mammograms for pre-menopausal women. Women and their doctors can consider thermograms and ultrasounds - two safe ways of evaluating the breasts: the former test is physiological/functional and a risk assessment tool, and the latter is anatomical.
Clients: Any health conscious individual seeking potential risk factors or early warning signs of health concerns. Early warning can lead to early detection and/or intervention, before a condition reduces quality of life. In addition, thermal imaging can identify/monitor clients at high thermobiological risk for developing breast cancer so that further evaluation and intervention steps can be initiated. Anyone with a persistent symptom/pain that has gone undiagnosed may benefit from thermal imaging, as it may be able to help identify the source/cause. Professionals: Primary care physicians, functional medicine doctors, pain managers, sports trainers, integrative health practitioners, neuro-muscular therapists, doctors of chiropractic, orthopedic doctors/surgeons, oncologists, radiologists, women’s health care providers, physical therapists, physiologists, and more. Any provider seeking adjunctive thermobiological data for appropriate situations, or for women at risk for developing breast cancer. Insurers: Thermal imaging may provide adjunctive information to help document and support diagnoses and treatment effectiveness. |
