While clients whose insurance plans include "out-of-network" and non-standard-of-care benefits typically receive some insurance reimbursement, your insurer may require a doctor's referral, pre-approval, or authorization. (The CPT code is 93762.) Please be sure to view/print the "Insurance Coverage" file on the "Appointments & Documentation" page for suggested questions to ask your insurer. As an elective service and a fee-for-service, we ask that clients pay at the time of service or on a monthly payment plan. We accept cash, checks, Visa, and MasterCard. (Please advise us if you require a monthly payment plan.) While we can customize imaging to meet your needs, here are the most popular imaging requests: · Abdomen/Back/Face Series* – $150 (full spine view, abdominal view, and 3 oral views with interpretive report) · Breast Series – $280 (7-9 breast views with interpretive report) · Breast & Abdomen/Back/Face Series*– $405
reproductive organs, digestive tract, liver, kidneys, lungs, full spine, and more. (12-14 views with interpretive report) · RSD/CRPS/Pain Series – $350 - $600 Customized imaging dependent upon client needs and pain complaints, with interpretive report. · Full Body Series (upper body series + lower body series)* – $550 24+ views with interpretive report (excludes the breast series) · Upper or Lower Body Series – $300 12+ images with interpretive report · 24-hour STAT Interpretation Requests – add $50 per series
* Clients most often choose this series because they are experiencing symptoms or simply as a non-invasive means of obtaining potential early warning signs and information relevant to their state of health. In the 6 year experience of The Thermogram Center, rarely does thermal imaging reveal signs that may be life threatening, i.e. hypervascularity when it is associated with cancer, but usually always, because of the sensitivity of the camera, thermal imaging may reveal signs suggesting stress, irritation, inflammation, infection, or congestion... which may occur without symptoms (and be subclinical). For instance, most of us hold tension/stress in our back muscles, so muscular irritation is commonplace. In other words, most of the time, this series delivers "nice to know" information about the functioning of the body. On those few occasions where significant signs are visible, further evaluation of suspect conditions with the client's doctor is recommended. Note: Since not all health conditions present thermally, thermal imaging should not be used as a stand alone test. Similarly, the absence of thermal findings cannot rule out significant health conditions.
